Construction began in May 2016 on the STAR (Student Training and Recreation) Complex. The Complex will be located where the Geasey Field track currently resides. It will offer labs for the College of Public Health, a 10,000 square foot weight and cardio area, facilities for the Athletics and Campus Recreation departments, an indoor turf field, and a 2-lane track outside the building. Construction is set to be completed in August 2017. The architecture firm designing the project is Moody Nolan.
